08.07.2015 LIBN | Maggiano’s chain to open its first LI location
By David Winzelberg

Dallas-based restaurant chain Maggiano’s Little Italy will open its first Long Island location in Garden City.
Maggiano’s, owned by Brinker International, will occupy 8,500 square feet at 500 Garden City Plaza, adjacent to the Roosevelt Field Mall. It’s expected to open in November.
Founded in Chicago in 1991, Maggiano’s currently operates 49 locations in 23 states. The Garden City restaurant will be the chain’s first in New York State.
The Garden City lease was arranged by Jayson Siano and Doug Bomzer of Sabre Real Estate Group.
“The Roosevelt Field Mall trade area is ground zero for national concepts,” Siano said. “This location is strategically located across from the new Neiman Marcus in the mall.”
Sabre is seeking additional sites for Maggiano’s in the New York metropolitan area. The company requires spaces between 8,000 and 10,000 square feet in regional malls or nearby areas that have large daytime populations and higher-than-average household income.
Kraig Silver was the in-house representative for landlord Treeline Companies in Maggiano’s Garden City lease.
